Having sketched many of the guys working on Patong Beach, they are down to model for some paintings. The yellow uniforms of the guys leaning on their motorcycles, the green of the beach tree and the bright blue sky created an immediate impression and I quickly asked if I could take their photos. I gave the boys prints of the painting, and kept the original for myself.
